Civitas Classical Academy began when two families decided to link arms while homeschooling their children. We longed for a school that provided the flexibility of homeschool, but without neglecting our need for community. We searched for a school that kept the main thing in focus, academics. A school that could both provide an excellent education while still allowing room for a robust family life. Not finding this particular blend of ideals elsewhere, we decided to found Civitas. 

We have spent time deep diving into many different publishers and have cultivated a beautiful curriculum that is rooted in and committed to a Biblical Worldview. We have also interwoven valuable classical elements into our curriculum in order to shape our children into lifelong learners. You will not find busy work in our curriculum as we have designed it to be rigorous without the endless worksheets present in many programs.
