Academics & Model

  • Christian

We have conducted extensive research to ensure that our curriculum is not only rigorous, but upholds Christian Values. Our goal is that as your student progresses through the curriculum, they are not only growing academically, but that you and your family will find opportunities to go deeper in your understanding and faith in God.

  • Classical

The Classical elements that we incorporate at our school beyond our curriculum selections are narration, dictation, recitation, and guided dialectic discussion. We do teach Latin as well. We have an “on ramp” for our Latin courses for all ages. If your student is new to Latin that is okay. It is not a requirement that any student would know Latin prior to attending CCA.

  • Hybrid Model

    School Days: Tuesday | Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Home Days: Monday | Wednesday | Friday

Mondays and Wednesdays you will have curriculum to work through. Friday we hope to use as an optional day for overflow, catch up, or projects. This is so you can set the pace for your home days.

Curriculum

These charts are for the 2025-2026 academic school year. We use these curriculums as foundations and for smooth home days, but we have really developed many aspects of our curriculum to make it a more robust, and well-rounded curriculum. For example, we use The Good and The Beautiful for our reading curriculum but we have curated a more robust phonics curriculum that we combine along with The Good and The Beautiful. We want your kids to have a fantastic education! Please reach out to us with any questions you have regarding curriculum. We are very passionate about curriculum and our goal is to keep the main thing the main thing, which is academics.

“Is it not the great defect of our education today that although we often succeed in teaching our pupils “subjects,” we failed lamentably on the whole in teaching them how to think? They learn everything except the art of learning.”

— Dorothy Sayers
